About the Role
The Occupational Therapist will provide specialized services to students with fine motor, sensory, and adaptive needs. This role involves close collaboration with teachers, families, and other school staff to create effective intervention plans that promote students educational participation and success.
Key Responsibilities

Conduct evaluations and create individualized therapy programs tailored to IEP goals

Deliver direct and consultative therapy to students across grade levels

Support and collaborate with teachers and parents to ensure consistency and student progress

Maintain documentation and compliance with district and state guidelines

Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary planning discussions
Qualifications

Active Washington State Occupational Therapy License (required)

Prior school-based or pediatric experience preferred

Understanding of IDEA and IEP implementation

Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
